Veteransporet Bryrup

The Veteran Track is a unique experience for train lovers and offers a charming ride in a veteran train. The train is located right next to Bryrup Camping and runs on part of the former Horsens-Silkeborg railroad line. This historic route takes you back to the old days and is perfect for a relaxing and nostalgic excursion.

 

The route


The veteran train ride takes you from Bryrup to Vrads, a beautiful journey of approximately 5 km. Along the way you pass the peaceful lakes Kvindsø, Kulsø and Snabe Igelsø, which give the landscape an enchanting atmosphere. The route not only offers a unique train experience, but also the opportunity to go for a nice walk afterwards, for example back to the campsite.

Tickets


Tickets for the steam train are available directly at the stations. At Bryrup station, you can pay in cash or with MobilePay (Scandinavian guests only); credit cards are also accepted at Vrads station. Due to the limited digital payment options in Bryrup, we recommend that international guests bring cash with them to be on the safe side.
