Data protection is a high priority for us, and we are committed to being transparent about how we collect, process and protect your personal information. This policy explains how your personal data is handled and safeguarded.


Why We Process Your Personal Data

We process your personal data to comply with legal obligations, court orders and requirements imposed by public authorities. This includes using your information for accounting, documentation and compliance with bookkeeping regulations.

  • Order number
  • Name
  • Postal address
  • Telephone number

  • Transaction amount
  • Transaction date

Legal Basis for Processing

The processing of your personal data is necessary for us to fulfil our legal obligations under applicable legislation, including accounting and financial reporting requirements.


How Long We Store Your Information

We store your personal data in accordance with Danish bookkeeping legislation. After the mandatory retention period has expired, all data will be deleted or anonymised in such a way that it can no longer be linked to you.


Who Is Responsible for Your Personal Data?

The Provider is the data controller for the personal data you submit and is responsible for ensuring lawful processing in accordance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and applicable national legislation.


Where We Store Your Information

Personal data collected about you is stored in the Netherlands, specifically with Booking Experts and on the Provider’s own server. Any transfer of your personal data is carried out in accordance with applicable data protection laws and GDPR requirements.


Who Has Access to Your Information?

Your information is only accessed by trusted staff members of the Provider. The Provider acts as the data controller and processes personal data on its own behalf.

The Provider also uses a number of data processors to ensure that we can deliver the services you have requested. We never sell, distribute or exchange your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes outside the Provider.

Personal data shared with third parties is used solely to deliver services related to your booking or purchase. The relevant third parties are:

  • Payment card transactions: Mollie
  • Booking transactions: Booking Experts

Your Rights

You have several rights regarding your personal data under the GDPR:


Right of Access

You have the right at any time to request information about the personal data we hold about you. Contact the Provider, and we will send your registered data via email.


Right to Rectification

You have the right to request correction of personal data if it is inaccurate or incomplete.


Right to Erasure (“Right to be Forgotten”)

You have the right to request deletion of your personal data except in the following situations:

  • You have an unresolved matter with us
  • You have an open order that has not yet been completed
  • You have an outstanding balance with the Provider
  • You are suspected of having misused our services within the past four years
  • Your debt has been transferred to a third party within the past three years, or within one year for deceased customers
  • You have made a purchase, in which case your data is retained for bookkeeping purposes

Right to Object to Processing Based on Legitimate Interests

You may object to the processing of your personal data when it is based on the Provider’s legitimate interests. We will not continue to process your data unless we can demonstrate compelling legitimate grounds that override your interests and rights, or unless processing is necessary to comply with legal requirements.


Right to Object to Direct Marketing

You may object at any time to the processing of your personal data for direct marketing purposes, including profiling related to such purposes.


Right to Restrict Processing

You may request restricted processing of your personal data under the following circumstances:

  • If you have objected to processing based on legitimate interests, processing will be restricted while we assess whether our legitimate grounds override yours
  • If you believe your data to be inaccurate, processing will be restricted while we verify accuracy
  • If processing is unlawful, you may request restriction instead of deletion
  • If the Provider no longer needs your data, but it is required for the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims

How to Exercise Your Rights

We take data protection very seriously. You can always contact the Provider with questions or requests regarding your rights.


Right to Lodge a Complaint with a Supervisory Authority

If you believe that the Provider is processing your personal data in an unlawful manner, you may contact Booking Experts at support@bookingexperts.com.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Danish Data Protection Agency (Datatilsynet).


E-commerce Terms and Conditions for Bryrup Camping

Sales and Delivery Terms

Below you will find practical information regarding the use of our online booking system. This includes how we process the information you enter, how you receive your purchase receipt and more. The term PROVIDER refers to Bryrup Camping.


Payment

All prices in the online booking system are stated in Danish kroner (DKK), including VAT and applicable taxes, unless otherwise clearly stated.

Payment is made using approved payment cards in the online booking system: Visa and Mastercard. No additional fees are charged for online payments.


Information About Online Payments

You can safely make purchases through our online booking system. Danish consumer protection rules apply, and you are generally protected against misuse of your payment card online. You can read more about safe online payments at:
www.betaling.dk or www.fdih.dk.


Shipping and Delivery

When booking and paying for a cabin, rental tent, pitch for your own tent or pitch for your own caravan, you will receive a rental agreement from the Provider, including a full overview of your purchase.

The contract is sent by email within 24 hours of booking. Please ensure that you have entered the correct email address.

The delivery of the purchased service occurs upon arrival at the Provider on the agreed arrival date and ends upon departure on the departure date, both of which are stated in the rental agreement.


Cancellation and Refund Policy

You may cancel your booking under the following terms:

General

Until a deposit or full payment has been received, the rental agreement is not binding for either party.

If you cancel within 24 hours of booking and payment has been made, the full amount will be refunded. Otherwise, the terms below apply:


Rental Units

A deposit of 25% of the total rental amount plus any booking fee is due immediately upon reservation.

The remaining balance must be paid one month before the start of the rental period.

If cancelled more than 30 days before the start of the rental period, the deposit is refunded minus a 10% fee.

If cancelled less than 30 days before the start of the rental period, the deposit is refunded minus a 25% fee.

If cancelled less than 14 days before the start of the rental period, no refund will be given. Any compensation must be claimed through your own insurance.


Own Caravan/Tent/Motorhome

A deposit of 25% of the total amount plus any booking fee is due immediately upon reservation.

The remaining balance must be paid one month before the start of the rental period.

If cancelled more than 30 days before the start of the rental period, the deposit is refunded minus a 10% fee.

If cancelled more than 14 days before the start of the rental period, the deposit is refunded minus a 25% fee.

If cancelled less than 48 hours before the start of the rental period, no refund will be given. Any compensation must be claimed through your own insurance.


Force Majeure

The customer is not released from the obligation to pay rent if unable to use the booked rental unit due to personal circumstances or force majeure (war, strike, natural disaster, epidemic, border closures or similar events).


Registration of Information

The Provider registers your name, address, email and other information supplied during purchase in its customer database. Information is not shared with third parties and is stored for five years.

The Provider uses server-side cookies and secure connections to protect the information you submit.

Payment card information is registered on a secure server, and data is encrypted before being transmitted over the internet.


Complaints Procedure

If you do not receive your contract confirming your purchase, and you have not received an error message, please contact the Provider at the below address or telephone number.

Complaints regarding the booking process, the booking itself or the product (your stay) must be submitted within a reasonable time after you discover the issue. Complaints can be made in writing or verbally.

One year after receiving the service (your stay), your right to complain expires in accordance with the Danish Sale of Goods Act (§83, subsection 1), unless otherwise agreed.

When the Provider receives your complaint, it will be processed as quickly as possible. The Provider will determine whether the product should be refunded, replaced or whether a discount should be granted.
