Rent a kayak or canoe at the campsite
Want to go kayaking? Then rent kayaks at Bryrup Camping. The campsite has both single and double kayaks.
Bryrup Langsø is just over the other side of the road, and after a trip to Bryrup Søbad, you're ready to cast off.
SUP Board rental
New for 2021, you can now rent SUP (Stand Up Paddle) boards at Bryrup Camping.
You get a small backpack with the things you need. And then it's just a matter of trying it out.
If you need instruction, let us know well in advance of your arrival and we'll try to arrange it.
Rent a mountain bike
On the saddle of a mountain bike you can easily get around the distinctive and beautiful nature around the campsite and Bryrup. There are plenty of great routes for both advanced and beginner riders.
Rent bikes at the campsite so you don't have to bring your own iron horses. And you can try your hand at a sport for everyone. Who knows, you might have to go home and invest in a mountain bike yourself, because you'll get hooked.
It's definitely the best way to experience nature and the area!
NB: A helmet is of course included when you rent a bike. Safety above all!
Want to ride with others?
Then come and ask at the reception. It's possible to join the local cycling club and experience the most beautiful cycling routes that you might not have found on your own. They'll be happy to share their experience and you'll have a local guide along for the ride.
They ride in three teams; beginners, intermediate and those who practically live in a bike saddle. So there should be room for all levels.
Often some of the more experienced guests offer to take a group out, so come and talk to us and we'll try to arrange something for you.
Walking, hiking or running?
Have you packed the right footwear? If not, get them out before you head to Bryrup Camping.
Around the campsite and Bryrup there are the most amazing hiking and running routes that take you through some of the most beautiful nature Denmark has to offer.
We are happy to help with suggestions for routes; both 5, 10 and more kilometers. But remember, it's not the flat nature that Søhøjlandet is known for, so prepare yourself for a challenge.
Campingfatter likes to run himself and knows a good FLAT route of 5 km - just ask :)

At the reception we have lots of maps and suggestions for hiking and cycling routes, as well as a HUGE 3 x 6 meter satellite photo of the area.
Come in and get inspiration for your next excursion - whether you're hiking, running or mountain biking.
Tennis in Bryrup
In collaboration with Bryrup Tennis Club, we offer our guests the opportunity to rent the tennis courts located by the lake in Bryrup.
The courts are in a fantastic location, so after a hard tennis match you can relax and take a dip in the fresh water.
There are toilets and changing rooms at the courts.

Padel tennis
Bryrup Tennis Club also offers Bryrup Camping guests the opportunity to book onto their brand new (2021) padel tennis court.
Padel tennis has taken Denmark and much of the world by storm, and it's just great fun. It's best played with 4 people, but you can also play two.
Whether you play tennis or padel, you can borrow the equipment for free at the reception and pay directly to the tennis club when you rent the court.
This way, you're also supporting the local community where you're vacationing.
