Bryrup Camping

What should you bring on a camping trip?

Planning a camping holiday and unsure what to pack? You’ve come to the right place. Bryrup Camping has created a practical guide to help you prepare for a successful camping trip – whether you're travelling with children or simply need a refreshing break from everyday life.

Equipment for classic camping

If you’re travelling with your own caravan, you likely already have most essentials with you. A well-equipped caravan with sleeping space and a small kitchen makes your stay much more comfortable. It’s always a good idea to check whether your chosen campsite offers electricity and access to showers. At Bryrup Camping, guests staying inside the barrier have full access to electricity, communal shower facilities and all shared activities on the campsite.

Camping holidays in comfortable cabins

If you prefer staying in a cabin with modern facilities, you won’t need to bring as much equipment. Most camping cabins include electricity, water, heating and basic kitchen equipment. All you need to focus on is packing clothing, toiletries and entertainment. You can also explore our packing list below for extra inspiration.

It’s also wise to check whether your cabin stay includes services such as cleaning, Wi-Fi and showers, and whether pets are allowed. At Bryrup Camping, all cabins always include cleaning, Wi-Fi, electricity and shower access. Dogs are welcome for a small cleaning fee.

Clothing and accessories for different needs

The type of camping holiday you choose will affect what you need to pack. For an active holiday, prioritise practical clothing and good shoes. If you plan to relax in a cabin, casual clothes and a warm sweater for the evenings may be enough. And remember – the Danish weather can change quickly. Always bring a mix of clothing or check the weather forecast before you leave.
