Camping activities for children and adults
Bryrup Camping is located in Central Jutland and offers activities for both children and adults. We have a free heated outdoor water park with two slides, mini golf, a playground, and much more. If you are staying with us as a camping guest, we recommend visiting some of the best and most fun attractions in Central and East Jutland with the whole family. These include Legoland, Djurs Sommerland, Randers Regnskov, Himmelbjerget, and Givskud Zoo.
Go cycling or running in beautiful surroundings
Whether you're in the mood for a kayaking trip, a game of padel tennis, or a mountain bike ride, Bryrup Camping is the perfect holiday choice. We work together with Bryrup Tennis Club in Central Jutland, giving our camping guests the opportunity to rent a tennis court or a padel tennis court. The reception offers free equipment for both sports.
Around the campsite, you’ll find fantastic walking and running routes that lead you through some of the most beautiful nature in Central Jutland. We are happy to help with guidance for routes of 5, 10, or more kilometres. Contact us for inspiration for your next outing—whether it’s by bike, on foot, or with your running shoes.
Camping near Aarhus, Skanderborg and Horsens
Bryrup Camping is located just 20 km south of Silkeborg, and therefore has short distances to the surrounding big cities such as Århus, Skanderborg and Horsens. If you are therefore looking for a campsite in East Jutland with a convenient location in relation to the most popular attractions and sights in Central and East Jutland, Bryrup Camping welcomes you.
From Bryrup Camping you have 53 km to Århus, 29 km to Skanderborg and just 33 km to Horsens.

Midtjyllands Art Center
Midtjyllands Kunstcenter – Galleri Habsø in Bryrup is Denmark’s largest art gallery with international artists and changing exhibitions. It is a great cultural break during your stay at Bryrup Camping, just a few minutes from the campsite.

Bryrup–Vrads vintage railway
The historic Bryrup–Vrads vintage railway offers a charming train journey through forests, lakes and beautiful landscapes – a cosy family activity just minutes from Bryrup Camping. It is one of the region’s classic attractions and a relaxing way to experience Danish nature.
Tickets and payment
Tickets are purchased at the station – there is no online booking.
• MobilePay is available at Bryrup Station (for Scandinavian guests only).
• Credit cards are accepted at Vrads Station.
• Cash is accepted at both stations. Non-Scandinavian guests boarding in Bryrup must bring cash for the ticket.
